About the show: 

This series is adaptation of Japanese manga series with the same name and is a typical High school drama.The story unfolds in Shinhwa High school meant for ultra rich elite kids from South Korea. F4 is a group of 4 super rich boys from South Korea's influential families. They are best friends but are arrogant and punish those who cross their paths. Gu Jun-pyo leads this group. Geum Jan-di is a worker class girl and while making delivery witnesses extreme level of F4 bullying where the victim was bullied to the verge of commiting a suicide. Jan-di saves the life of a victim and the stories are leaked in the media. To avoid negative publicity, Shinhwa group Chairwoman Kang Hee-soo (Jun-pyo's mother) arranges scholarship for Jan-di to attend Shinhwa High school.

After joining the high school Jan-di realizes that F4 are very popular and entire school is crazy about them. Due to their arrogance she immediately starts disliking them. Jun-pyo tries to bully her but she refuses to cower. This intrigues him to a great extent. He plays silly tricks on her and encourages other kids bully and torture her. Finally he falls for her.

Geum Jan-di is a vivacious and independent girl who never gives in to any kind of force. One of the F4 member, Ji-hoo helps her one of bullying incident and later saves her from being attacked by a group of boys. As a result Jan-di develops feelings for Ji-hoo. Ji-hoo fosters one sided love for his childhood friend. So now there is a love triangle. Ji-hoo leaves for Paris to pursue his love. Finally Jun-pyo and Jan-di start coming closer and start liking each other.

But the story doesn't end here. Later Ji-hoo comes back to Korea disheartened. Now Ji-hoo is attracted towards warm Jan-di, and the story takes typical course from here. There is misunderstanding and strife between Jun-Pyo and Jan-di, then Ji-hoo lets go his love for the sake of friendship, followed by opposition from Jun-pyo's mother, separation of the love birds, getting support from unexpected quarters and at the end they lived happily ever after... 

Entire series is quite fast and eventful though the story is too typical and too impractical to be real life. The drama was just okay. Even though it was very popular and many adaptations were made from this story like Meteor Garden (China), Meteor Garden (Taiwan), Hana Yori Dango (Japan), F4 Thailand, it's not my cup of tea. But if you are a die hard fan of High school drama then it's one time see!
