As the name suggests this show offers a glimpse into resident doctors' lives. This story revolves around 4 new recruits i.e. resident doctors and how they juggle their way around their professional lives as well as personal lives. Oh I-yeong, Kim Sa-bi, Um Jae-il and Pyo Nam-kyung have joined Yulje Medical Center OB-GYN department as first year resident doctors (typically called as R1s). All of them have different personalities but have a common goal of becoming exceptional doctors.
