My Girlfriend is an Alien Season 2

The season 2 of the Chinese drama "My Girlfriend is an Alien" is as entertaining as Season 1. Season 2 has 2 additional characters to add more spice: Xiao Bu and Jiang Shiyi. 

Season 1 had ended with blissful wedding of Fang Leng and Xiao Qui. Season 2 starts with kidnapping of Xiao Qui during her wedding. Her hometown planet Capetown disapproves of the wedding between humans and Capetownian and abduct Xiao Qui. They consider the human harmones to be a big danger to Capetown. They remove all the memories of love  from Xiao Qui's mind and brainwash her to believe that the earthlings are quite selfish and Fang Leng had deceived her. He married her with selfish motives in mind. However, Xiao Qui always cherished her memories with Fang Leng and stored them safely in her sapphire ring before brain washing. 

Now the "Xiao Qui" who hates Fang Leng is the perfect person to go back to the earth with a mission of collecting the "dangerous harmone element" from Fang Leng for further studies and analysis. Her faithful AI assistant Kubri has now assumed a human form and goes to the earth with Xiao Qui as sweet chubby cheeked girl Xiao Bu.

If the things would have gone as planned then second season would not be required. Xiao Qui and Xiao Bu commence their journey to the earth and on their way meet with an accident in the space and land on earth in a different time dimension. One year before Xiao Qui had originally met Fang Leng. Fang Leng still has heterosexual Amnesia in the rains and neither recognizes her nor interested in her. 

The pursuit begins. It takes time for people to accept their feelings when they have decided not to fall in love but develop feelings for each other. During this uncertain phase Jiang Shiyi makes entry in their life. Jiang Shiyi is from Capetown planet, 99% genetic match of Xiao Qui, candidate for Chief position and wants to help Xiao Qui in fulfilling her mission. When a guy fits in a description like dashing, handsome, promising but is not a hero, love triangle is bound to happen. Initially Xiao Qui pursues Fan Leng to get harmone element. Later when Xiao Qui forgets him, Fang Leng pursues her.

Having said that there is another quirky pair of love birds: Fang Lie and an AI robot Xiao Bu. They have their own set of troubles. Xiao Bu's temparature rises in the presence of Fang Lie and she goes into tortoise mode. Can she hide from Fang Lie that she is not a girl and is a robot?? If yes, then for how long?? Fang Lie is completely smitten by Xiao Bu. But will he accept her once he gets to to know the truth?? There is one more lovey dovey pair Chai and Dr Zhang... Chai has taken it to her heart to teach the girls all about love. 

Will Fang Leng and Fang Lie succeed in their love pursuit?? Will Xiao Qui get her memories back?? Will Fang Lie accept a robot for his love interest??
