Strong Woman Do Bong-Soon


There is a serial kidnapper. There is a strong girls with super human powers. There is a young cop and there is a very young CEO. This drama can be described as love triangle between 2 young men and a beautiful strong girl coupled with a capture of a serial kidnapper. 

The drama starts with a bus driver losing control of the bus and a girl saving the bus from falling into a valley. 

Ahn Min-hyuk is a handsome and young CEO of a gaming company. Computer games launched by company are very popular in the market. Though he is successful, he is very lonely. His mother had passed away when he was a small kid and his step brothers used to bully him. So he decided to go away from the family business and built his own gaming company. Off late he is receiving threat calls.

Do Bong-Soon is a very strong girl with immense power. Super human powers are bestowed upon females born in the family with the condition that the powers will go off if any innocent person is hurt because of these powers. She stays with her parents and a twin brother who is a doctor. She has a crush on In Gook Do since high school days. She is not able to maintain any of her jobs and is currently unemployed. 

There is one serial kidnapper who is abducting girls leaving false trails behind. He teied to abduct Do Bong-Soon's best friend as well. He is inteigued by Do Bong-Soon when he gets a glimpse of her powers while saving her best friend. In Gook Do is a police officer and currently handling the kidnapping case. 

Min-hyuk saw Bong Soon fighting goons all alone and decides to appoint her as his body guard. Half of the hospital ward is filled with goons beaten by Bong-Soon. As he gets to know her more and more, he starts liking her. He teaches Bong-Soon to control her powers. 

Police try their level best to capture the kidnapper.  When Bong-Soon's best friend is kidnapped, she decides to use her full strength and find the kidnapper.  The kidnapper is very clever and tries to play with police and Bong-Soon. He has already discovered Bong-Soon's weakness. During this investigation process In Gook Do realizes his true feelings towards Bong-Soon.

Will they succeed in capturing the kidnapper?? Will Bong-Soon lose her powers?? Will she be able to save her loved ones from the kidnapper?? Will the kidnapper take advantage of Bong-Soon's weakness?? Who will Bong-Soon choose in the end - Ahn Min-hyuk or In Gook Do?? If this interests you then rune in to this drama. 

The presentation in K-dramas is usually good. So even if the plot is ordinary the show can be entertaining.  The cast is pretty good. Especially the screen presence of Park Hyung- Sik (Ahn Min-hyuk) is pleasing. Other characters add a lot of comedy to the drama and make it light especially when it starts getting spooky when the kidnapper sends chills down the spine.
