The Girl Who Sees Scents


A serial killer is roaming free in the society leaving a barcode on the hands of the victim... sole witness is alive but has lost memory Baffled Police department... Choi Eun-seol was a happy and bubbly kid. One day she found dead bodies of her parents after coming home. The murderer was in the house and tried to kill her as well. But she managed to escape from his clutches and met with an accident. Police take her to the hospital. At the same time injured students from a school bus accident were also brought to the hospital. A girl with the same name was murdered in the hospital.

Now orphaned Choi Eun-seol is adopted by Lieutenant Oh Jae-pyo and living her life as Oh Cho-rim without having any inkling of her horrendous past. When she wakes up from coma, she develops a special ability of seeing scents. Each scent jas a unique pattern and she can recognise and trace anyone by the scent trail left behind by that person. Oh Cho-rim wants to become a comedian. 

Detective Choi, brother of murdered  Choi Eun-seol, is a patrolling officer and wants to join Violent Crimes Unit so that he could find his sister's killer and avenge her. He wants to catch some big criminal so that he could join Violent Crimes Unit. During one of his pursuits he comes across Oh Cho-rim and catches the criminal with the help of Cho-rim. 

Rest of the story is a dangerous and thrilling pursuit of the barcode killer - how they identify him, how they track him, how they collect evidences and finally how they nail him... Officer Choi and Oh Cho-rim are supported by Yeom Mi and other members of Violent Crimes Unit.  

This is a fast paced thriller which keeps you glued to the screen. There are few breath taking moments. They have managed to maintain the suspense till the end. Great to see once.
